New rig

I finally bit the bullit and bought my first truck. It is an '03 that was part of the "Buy Back" program and now the paint has a longer warrenty that the rest of the truck!

Here are the specs:
'03 QC SLT
Light Almond with cloth interior
Load flat floor option ;D
Am/Fm/Cd
Tow Package and mirrors
Skid Plates, Tow Hooks...
6 speed

Looking to meet someone in the area that has straight piped theirs before I decide to do it. Don't want to pay for a mod twice. Anyone in the Portland, Vancouver area willing to help me out?

Thanks,
Daren

Re:New rig

The "buy back" program was initiated by Dodge. Apparently there were a few rigs that got sent with sub par paint jobs. They sent reps to various dealerships that had the vins that matched and took the trucks back to have them repainted. I believe mine was done by PPG, they only painted the left side but the dealer stated the whole truck was covered for 10 years. Once the paint cured, these truckes were sold at an auction and dealers could get them at a substatial discount but could not sell them as new.

As an example, the paper work that came with mine stated that it was repainted in February and the dealer didn't get it until some time in September.

If you have any other questions, let me know and I will try to answer them.
