I know this is probably not the way to do this, but I have not been able to post in the classifieds.<br><br>I messed up the tailgate on my 2003 Dodge 2500, and would sure like to replace it while keeping both arms and legs.<br><br>Truck is black, but I will consider another color then paint it.<br><br>Anybody have an idea where I might pick one up?

 

How did you mess up the tailgate? I backed mine in to the jack on my TT. Boy, that line-x makes a nice crunchy sound!

 

A good place to check is eBay. I don't see any out there for the 2003 right now, but they do appear from time to time. Many replace their current tailgate with an aftermarket one and have no use for the original.

 

Also check you area for a dealer that sells Utility Boxes.<br>Often they have complete pick-up boxes that were taken off of brand new fleet trucks.<br><br>Ed

there is one on ebay, item 2413521170 check it out, might work for you, price seems to be right

 

How much are the tailgates going for? I would think they would be the same as the ones on the new half tons.<br>

 

They run $500 new, PLUS painting.<br><br>They are the same as the new 1/2 tons.<br><br>Thanks TCB, I bought that one on ebay. I am in Texas, and it turns out I will be driving right by this guy this friday night.<br><br>It cost $75 plus I will need to get it painted.
