I had an 03 2500 SLT that was stolen in January. Got a call Friday that the truck had been found in Gardner KS. The guy who towed the truck sent us pictures & the thing is TRASHED!!! It's in more pieces than I thought was possible!! I thought I was ****** when it got stolen, but compared to what I'm feeling now, I was only mildly annoyed!! But all that aside, what should I do with it? It'll probably cost me more than the truck is worth to put it back together, but I'm not going to get anything if I sell the remains to a salvage yard. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

 

Did you have insurance on the truck for theft? Do you still own the truck?
I believe you have two choices if you still own the truck. One is to part out the truck I believe you would get more for this then a salvage yard.
The next option is to start a build and make the truck into what you want. Such as higher horsepower, better transmission and such. If you have son/ daughter make this into a family time working with them on the rebuild.
