I want to change a couple things on my order. My truck went to D1 today. On another thread someone mentioned you can change things even after that up to E status?<br><br>Is this true or not? I have the VON number and will call customer service tomorrow.<br><br>I called the dealer today to change some things and he said I couldn't. I don't know if he actually called or not and is bullshitting me.<br><br>

 

jet<br><br>If you are D1, forget it, he is not bulling you.<br><br>You can change lots of things lots of times, but once it is D1 then I don't believe even the Pope could help you.<br><br>That is why I read, re read, read and studied the options available until I was sick of doing it.<br><br>I only changed 2 things after order, but am glad that I did.<br><br>Good luck<br><br>Hunter

The option you do have is to cancel your order - and order again. Or, have the dealer keep the order going and order you another truck (then they sell yours to someone else - should not be a problem unless you've spec'd a unique truck that would not typically sell in your area).

The Dodge info is updated notoriously late. Mine was listed as D1 from 10/04 to 10/11 yet had actually been built 10/02. Others who have ordered and tracked their trucks can tell you similar stories. Your truck may already have been built.
