Supposedly they are. I got all four for $260 wholesale which was one heck of a deal. (The front end man did the whole job for $250 so I was out just a little over $500 for all.)
Anyway, they have grease zerts and are certainly much better than the worn ones they replaced.

I'm happy with the Napa ones so far (whoever makes them).

Just had a alignment on my 2003 4x4 dually with 45000 miles. Did a alignment cause its never had one. Was told ball joints bad. They had up and down play. Right side more then left. truck drives great! No noise, tire wear is good, some minor cupping rt front. I pull about 13000lb gooseneck trailer a few times a month is what I figured tire wear was. Wish now I hadn't gotten it aligned LOL Quoted $900! How much play is allowable? really hate to screw with it driving so good. How much do decent ball joints cost, parts that is? Then labor? I have friends that have towed 200,000 miles and never a alignment or a front end noise of any sort. Traded trucks in and did the same mileage with more Dodge 4x4 duallys. Did their ball joints have up and down play? I read did a SEARCH with what seemed a number of different answers. Saw no post about BROKEN ball joints. Any of those on these trucks?

They are allowed quite a bit of axial (up and down) play, I think the spec is close to .125" that is allowable and acceptable. They will often have quite a bit of play even at brand new, and I wouldn't be at all worried about it until it approaches the maximum.

Had another tire store with a alignment man with 30 years experience look at it with me. He said I won't sell you ball joints! I said the 'other' guy said suppose to have 0 clearance. This fellow said BUNK. Even new has got some up and down. I have frends that put close to 200,000 miles on these trucks and never a alignment or front front ever checked that have no issues. I have no issues in how it drives or any noise. I'm leaving it alone. BUT I'd like to know TRUE SPECS.
