Need Help On A Buying Decision

Im looking at an 06 one ton four door drw 4x4

1. every other tread on the front tires is worn, what does this mean?
2 the gooseneck hitch is welded to the frame, is that going to be a bad thing?

they want $24,900 for it and it has 54,000 miles is this a good deal or not?

thanks guys

Cowboy...
The front tires being worn and more than the rear most likely means that the owner did not rotate his tires. I have heard that it is two set of fronts to one set of rears if you do not rotate. Also, I would take it to a front end shop and have all of the steering joints and the upper and lower ball joints checked. I have heard that replacing all can be very expensive and they do not seem to hold up too well. You are aware that large tires, lift kits can make the steering wear quickly.
Good Luck

could be tire type or inflation. 90% of gn are welded. think b&w is the few that is not mine was till i removed it for the flatbed. thats not a bad price. i paid 23.8 for mine with 38k on it but it had about 4k in haildamage

Tires cupped just means not rotated typically, but check out the front end as said above. $25k seems like an average asking price......if it's in excellent shape. Should be able to talk 'em down a few thou.
