Need help with tires.

So after 15K mile, my stock michs are about shot, about 30-40% tread left and crappy winter performance, at any rate, im looking for a tire with a better load capacity, something higher than E rated. Maybe G? Problem is, I cannot find one that will fit a stock rim. to save my life. I want something that will wear like a tank, dont really care about ride quality as I am performance. I tow alot and need something that will handle the weight and last for a while. Obviously, I dont want something smaller than the stock tire, bigger is fine but not too big. Almost forgot, the tire needs to fit the stock rim, im not in the market for 19.5's yet.

Anyone have ANY ideas? Im lost and have exhausted my search.

WOW, 15k miles and your tires are somewhere between 30-40%, my stock bfgs have 64k on them, and can probably still get 10-15k more miles out of them, but I do not tow anything larger than a boat with this(20' boat), and that is only occasionally. Good luck in your searches man.

Mine are at 60K+ and still Ok but will be doing new ones soon because the side walls are showing a little wear and cracks.

Yeah, i know right. Stupid michelins, I thought about taking it back to the dealer and throwing a fit but I know that wont get me anywhere. So my only choice is to cut my losses with the stockers and try to buy something a little heavier duty than these tires.

What the heck are you towing and how much air you got in those Michelins???? They wear like iron IMHO!! I've got 52,000 miles on my 04.5 stockers and I could probably get an easy 80,000 miles on them. I got 125,000 miles off the stock Michelins on my '99!! I do agree though that they are crappy in the snow!!!

Mich makes BFG, but the stock Mich's don't offer that great of traction. Sorry can't help on your tire search but good luck

I run 72 in the rear and 65 in the front...tires are rate for 80 I believe. Most of the wear came before I started running the higher PSI. They are actually getting better since I put more air in them. I was running 80 in the rear and 72 in the front but was hauling a tractor about 250 miles but I stopped for fuel and noticed steam coming off my rear tires (was raining that day)

yeah, the WORST tire I have EVER seen in the snow.
