I've had these on my 06 Ram for about 8 months and when washing it yesterday I found this:

To Discount Tires credit, they are sending a new wheel out to me at no charge..... no questiuons asked. Excellent service by them!
And I really didnt hit anything, some kind of stress crack or something.
Any one else have something similar???

Maybe the wheels max load was exceeded...............

i had one of the factory wheels on my travel trailer crack in many places last summer, nothing wrong with the tire. had to take pics and video to show dealer(they are too far away) they claimed i had slammed a curb or something. once they saw the pics, no issue.
glad discount is hooking you up. sometimes things just break.

Well its mounted on the left front and I know these are on the "low end" of aftermarket wheels, but my truck sees no heavy duty use at all.
Small utility ATV trailer is about all I ask it to do......I did let my wife use it last Friday

But,

Like I said, the rest of the tire wheel combo shows no damage or any other indication of impact.
I was just posting this out of curiosity and to give props to Discount Tire.

Member XLR8R (I think it was him) had a set of Vision Wheels crack just like that. If I'm not mistaken, they are made for America's Tire like the MB Motoring wheels.

I almost put a set of MB Motoring wheels on my truck.

They were only rate to 2000lbs or somewhere around that, so I decided not to. The Weld wheels I have are good to 3200lbs each.

The MB Motoring wheels are nice looking, fair priced, but IMO are not made to be used on a diesel truck that is hauling stuff.

Yep, I have over 5000 lbs on the front end with the 3500 6.7 empty. Start adding any forward weight and some bumps and those light truck wheels will crack. Add a camper in the back or some heavy weight and the pretty wheels will give it up.

Vision - who makes 19.5" aluminum wheels (4500# rating) for Rickson, made these aluminum rims that I had a stress crack on:

They have a 3500# rating... maybe I maxed them out!
