My 07 in body shop and my take on the rental Nissan Frontier....

Unfortunately, the load shifted in my trailer and a board hit the right tail light and the bed above it putting a palm sized dent there. Arrrrrrrrrgh . Well took it to the body shop and I ended up with an 09 Nissan Frontier 4 door, 4.0 V6 automatic from the rental place. I tell you what, you really appreciate your Dodge more when forced to spend a week in another product. The turning radius is larger in the Nissan, takes more turns of the wheel to make the same maneuver, spongy brakes, lakluster power, spongy suspension and probably worst of all, the horrendous gas mileage. It drinks $10 in gas every single day for the same driving I do in the Dodge. I just cannot wait to have my Cummins back! (might be today)

It should be getting 18MPG no matter how you drive it. Power, it's a V6, what do you expect. It ain't no Cummins that is for sure.

Your the first person I have heard say anything bad about the Nissan besides it's not as big as their old truck. Lots of guys up North here are trading their Dodges, Fords and Chevys in for Nissans and Toyotas. From speaking to them they say the Big Three are not up to par with the latter two.
Milage, comfort and handling wise.

Should have rented a Titan with the V8. You would still be comparing apples to oranges though. Nothing will compare to your Cummins pulling off the line.

I have probably owned more than 10 Nissan trucks over the years but the new ones seem to be getting cheaper. Although, I did like this Frontier much much better than the 4 door 09 Tundra I rented once. Now that was a POS!
