I was getting just under 7 when I was going 67 mph, and I decided what the hell, as long as the mileage sucks I'll go 75! Then the mileage went up to 7.2. I know it's because the POS automatic won't unlock the TC at those speeds because it will redline.

I need some tranny work. This will be worse when I put on the 305's next week!

This may be way out in left field, but have you tried having your computer reflashed? That thing should stay locked up at a lot slower speeds than that. Just an option, I would try or at least look into. Something is definately not right.

in the summer I get 22 to 23 @ 65 MPH and 18 in town. In the winter the i lose about 2 mpg. These are hand calculated numbers & I have kept track of ALL fuel the truck has consumed, so there is no fill up error. I have posted graphs of my mpg before, PM me if interested.

I was getting 15.5 city/hwy combo, then I got the reflash done for White smoke/MPG and am now getting 20MPG hand calc. Very glad I had it done.

Have you had the 'Hard Start' and other mods TSB (18-003-06 REV. A) done? My buddy just got his '06 2500 up-dated and it really helped his mileage and power.

Funny how on a Dodge you get a flash/TSB done & milage & power goes up, but on a Ford only the noise goes up while milage & power go down .
