Does anyone have the mopar aux heater installed? Also does it come with in cab control unit? Thanks

 

Nobody has this option installed.

 

I personally don't know what it is.

 

If you mean their diesel fired heater by Espar, I have one and love it. It allows my truck to start in -40*C weather without being plugged in and helps the truck warm up quicker. And yes it comes with an in cab controller, although its only a 24 hour one. I'd personally go to Cummins and have them install the heater, or atleast their controller since its a 7 day one and you can retrieve codes from the heater if you ever have trouble.

 

Those I know about..........I didn't think Dodge made one........they wouldn't be that smart and it would likely be too expensive to get one through the dealer anyway.

 

Hello guys. I have on in my 07 Ram SWQC 4x4, the units are very nice and the kit is made in germany for Dodge. Its complete and very nicely done.

As a side note, I have mine set to turn on when I cycle the door locks from my key fob, when you cycle the door locks the cargo lights come on then off again when you lock again. I use this 12v pulse from the cargo lamps to trigger a 12v momentary pulse timer. I have the timer set to 45 minutes. I can supply the part number of the timer if any of you are interested. The nice thing about this is I don't need to have to walk around with two remote fobs on my keychain, you only need the original dodge one.

As a side note I have a webasto in my 2005 smart fortwo CDI, the webasto in the smart is also good quality but for the Dodge I went with the ESPAR because of the nice kit they made for Dodge.
