Mod friendly dealers....

Does anyone from the central New Jersey area know of any mod friendly dealers that will still do warranty work on a truck with something like a leveling kit and a smarty?

If I was a dealer that was "mod friendly" I don't think I would want it made public knowledge, especially to DC.

mine down here did not care, as long as i was honest with them.

then, they fired them all, and hired some guy who SWORE my 2006 did NOT have a CAT on it.

now, it doesn't matter if they are mod friendly or not, because they can't fix pooh.

took in for alignment last month, they put air in the tires and gave it back to me.

had a tire with a slow leak, so they said that was what made it pull....
oh, geez, you think MAYBE i have put air in that freakin tire sometime in the last year and it was STILL PULLING to the left?

they kept it 2 days and made me late on vacation to do that... i was FUMING...

it will run off the road if you are in the fast lane, and the road has a good crown to shed water.

anyways....

a "good" dealer is hard to find, much less one mod friendly...

There's a dealer in the San Francisco Bay area that sells Bullydog & Quad electronics right out of their parts counter. I asked about warranty work, they said it's helpful to remove any trace of the mods before bringing the truck in, but they seemed to imply that they use common sense in determining if a mod caused a part failure or not. Hopefully I'll never need them, but it's nice to know they are there..
