mirror problem

mirror problem

Hi,the problem is when I have the driver side mirror in the towing position it gets stuck from moving left or right.I can force it thru the spot it hangs up on but does not work as normal can anyone relate to this and maybe have a fix...Thanks in advance

sounds like you may have a wire from the harness interfering with the movement of the glass. Push the glass all the way to one side and look in there to see if something is interfering. You may have to use a flashlight to see.

I have a similar problem, except mine wont go up or down when it is folded in the normal driving position. It has been that way since the day after I bought the truck. I haven't had a chance to take it to the dealer yet.

both of my mirrors would not go up or down the day i bought it, and they replaced both with no problems so far.
