I installed the pioneer 8400. It has the wired microphone that I put on the visor. Has anyone used an aftermarket stereo and used the stock microphone?

Behind the stereo their was another wiring harness, that wasn't used with the install. I assume the microphone is located on these wires. I have tried finding a detailed wiring diagram, but all the ones I come across aren't detailed enough.
