After almost 3 months of 100*F and near 100*F heat my rear view mirror has become detached from the windshield. Truck doesn't fit in garage and has always lived outside.

What is the best repair "kit". I stopped by Autozone and they have some repair kits by PermaTex.

 

Best fix is go down to your local glass shop. They will charge you $5-10 to stick it back on

 

Yup do that...I tried to fix my wife's rearview useing one of those kits. Got it back up but that dang thing vibrates something awful. Would have just gone to the local shop if I had it to do over again.

Yep, I went to a glass shop and had it reattached. I first tried a useless do it yourself kit from an autoparts store.
