What are H2's?

Do you do a lot of tight maneuvering? I don't, so it's not really an issue for me. I read here somewhere that it was fixed with a leveling kit.

And you're right, it looks "manly" now! Guess I'm compensating for something else?

Great Job Buddy26, Just had my 285"s installed today
There's a Guinness here waiting on you!
Since I found this site a couple of months ago I have found great info.
Air box Mod = $20
New Costco seat covers = $164
New 285's BFG = $340 OTD
DTR = Priceless

Had the 285's installed with the white lettering on the inside. Looks bland, should I have them reverse the tires showing the White lettering?
Any thoughts?

I think the whites out would look good!! I called Michelin today and got my process started. I've got to drive 60 miles to the closest Sears or Discount to get mine done. Will update when complete!! Buddy26 YOU ROCK

I called Discount today and they told me that I will only get up to 90% value for my tires. I told him that I have only 8 K on the truck. Anyone else been told this?

They're wrong, unless you've been doing a lot of burn outs and greatly reduced your treads. I had about 12k miles and received 100%.

I had 5700mi on mine and had no problem. Take the Michelen warrant manual in there. They spell it all out in the manual. Never the less, the CS dept at Michelen will tell you what you get.

I had 18k miles on mine and got 100%. It was right at 13/32 and 12/32 on the edges but when the discount guy told the Michelin rep they put him on hold and then came back and said cover it completely.

Luvnacumns, Thanks for the input.

I think I win for the best deal yet!!!!

Yesterday I got my 315s installed. My OTD cost was $202 for all FIVE tires. He gave me 100% on the warranty with 25k miles on the tires. He gave me the 315's at the cost of the 265's. I only paid $202 because of the road hazard warranty.

Cant beat 5 BFG AT KO's 315's with road hazard warranty for $202 OTD

Just wanted to say a BIG thanks to everyone here for the advice and informing me of this. oh, and no rubbing as of yet

Discount Tire wanted $150 for the warranty, but I passed. The cost of 265's for the 315's is AWESOME!

Well, well, well..I've been ignoring this thread for some reason... but what do you know..I decide to walk a few feet to look at my tires that have 1098 miles on them...and what do you know? Mine have more cracks than Dinah Shores face. I just happen to be two miles from discount...Should I call the warranty in first to Michelin, or just take it up there?
