MEGA CAB

Most of the pics I've seen of it have been of the truck in red, I think it might look a little better in a darker color (i.e. Black or Granite). The contrast w/ the tinted windows and the body color really make the rear of the cab look very dispriportional. Most of the pics look superimposed.
Just my opinion.
Thanks,

Now....if they left the front end alone, proportioned the doors, made a front centre console available instead of the flip down seat thingy (I don't need someone sitting next to me with a handshaker - they'll just get in the way - I'll hold the girlfriend close to me later), and made it available as a long box dually, then they'd have a truck.

It never ceases to amaze me that when you figure haw many DC researches probably view this site and others, they never figure out what the majority of us want. That is (for me anyway), a reliable, roomy truck, without fandangled crap (like adjustable pedals...just some other electronic crap to break in the bush and strand you, compass - who needs it, the sun rises east and sets west, thermometer - I'll stand outside and do a calibrated body measurement/they're not accurate anyway because of heat radiating from the truck), and usable guages (turbo boost, pyro, tranny temp.), I can't believe I'm saying this, but aux. switches and built in brake controller like available in the Fords, and a huge list of other "usable" stuff.

Currently, if the other guys offered a Cummins, I'd have to consider it. Work supplies me with a 6.0L Ford....the only problem is the low end lack of torque so far....I should have torn the thing apart where work takes me, and it's not always on the hiway (maybe 30% of travel)....we're talking mud sometimes to the doors (oilfield), and still not a rattle or shimmy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a Dodge man, but I want something tangible to replace my '98.

Sorry, off of my box now.

without any doubt. If they were genuinley concered about improving their truck, the most important thing they could offer would be uncompromising dealer service. If they would do that above all else ,it would not even matter what the sheet metal was shaped like.

I'm with Lightman, GAY is the proper description for that thing. How much room do we need here? IT'S A TRUCK, not a Minivan. If you have that many kids just get a shuttle bus or something. I am in the minority here, but I still LOVE the look of standard cab trucks over my quad. One more kid and I'd be singing another tune, but remeber these things used to be designed for work, not as Grocery Getters!

That's the thing.....they used to be designed for work. Now they're designed to appeal to the city yuppy folks that never leave the city limits. Crap IMHO!

Long cab, short bed, they just can't get it right. They need a full four door and 8 foot bed.
