Give your comments

I see alot of people have looked since I posted the link to the Mega cab. Im not into the new front end look for the '06's. Every time I see a new Durango or Dakota I say, wow, thats pretty hideous looking!! I knew it was a matter of time before they got to the Ram's. Like every other company, There gonna "Kill the truck with improvements". Im gonna order my '05 as soon as I can b4 its to late.

Anyway, Lets here what comments all the rest of you have for the new '06 and Mega cab look.

Don't panic....you will still be able to get a Reg or QC Cab with a Long Bed.....the Megacab is not going to be the only truck available through Dodge.

I would be half tempted to try and find a good front end at the junk yard off of a older therd gen and put it on that ugly thing. Take one step forward in the cab department and 2 backwards in the body department.

Me no likey either. Can't seem to get beyond the "bloated" Durango look. Just like everything else in life though, I'm sure it'll grow on us. Maybe Dodge will tweek it a bit more before they really start making 'em...

I think the "C" pillar looks too big. If they made the door bigger it would be fine!

You're right Horse! How about better proportion between both doors to make the "C" pillar smaller?

I actually like it. At first, I was put off by the headlights, but they're already growing on me. Love the grille. Love the interior room, rear seats, and behind-the-seat storage (which I think people will use more than they think). About the only thing I don't like is the dash. After all is said and done though, I'm going to wait for the all new models in '08. I'm betting the MegaCab will be a HUGE hit.

I just wish they would quit putting aluminum where steel should be, plastic where the aluminum should be, and throwing out everything else! It would be nice for a change if the turkeys would quit concentrating on looks and style and focus on things that break all the time! For cryin' out loud, read some of the problems on the 2000 to 2003's on this website! Fix them and quit wasting time on body panels that don't pull trailers or turn fuel into ponys! City folk might buy 'em 'cause they look purty, the rest of us buy them to work. Make them last and quit puting recliners in them! Use some smarts and make pumps that don't fail, guages that dont' quit, trannys that don't fall apart! I really don't care if it looks like a Studebaker as long as it can pull a 40 foot trailer!

I actaully put about 4 cents on this one!

I agree with the back C pillar being too big. I think if they would of made the back of the front door like 2 inches bigger, and put a little space between the front and rear door, it would of made the doors and cab look a little more symetrical, and could of kept the same amount of interior space. For the front, it just doesnt look like the agressive "Big Rig" Ram look were used to, looks to much like a Dakota trying to grow up. Plus, That big, flat, center dash pod, looks too much like an afterthought. The Interior needs some style to it. I hate to say it, But I think Ford might take the trophy for having the "Brute, Bad" look for a heavyduty truck. Ive seen one of them in my rearview with the big chrome nose on it, and it was intimidating..... BUT IT STILL WONT MAKE ME WANNA GET ONE!!!

I don't think it looks bad. New bumper/lights, but the rest of the front end shape looks exactly like what I'm driving now unless I'm missing something. The bed still looks too plain. Needs flares. It appears they ditched the nose down attitude....no leveling kit required.
