Anybody know if dodge plans on offering the Mega Cab with an 8' Bed?

 

Rumors seem to indicate that they will, but personally, I'll be surprised if they do. They'd have to engineer a whole new frame and I don't think they want to do that.

 

maybe they figured out that theres enough of us out there that doesn't mind a huge truck and won't buy a darned short bed to save our lives! (me anyways )

 

Me too Horse Hauler! You would basically have to give me a short bed to drive one.

On a related note, while driving down to visit my parents yesterday we were passed by FOUR red Megacabs. For all of the folks that have said they look much better in person than in pictures....you were right. Pretty good looking trucks....even with a short bed.

 

A guy over on the TDR said he saw a test mule Dodge MC long bed. He also stated it sounded different then the current 3rd gen trucks. Mostly he said the turbo noise was very pronounced. Then he proceeded to explain how the tester walked away from his modded 2nd gen like he wasn't even there.

It's coming guy's, just hang in there.

You most likely saw 4 of the 181 RED Megacabs they had at the State Fair of Texas. They were kicking off the sales promotion and had Terri Clark (very hot chick by the way) in concert at the Smirnoff Amphitheatre there.

181 Red Megacabs all lined up in several rows was quite an impressive site. But, they all had the wimpy mirrors.
