Bought mine is March '06 and so far so good - I've only rolled a little over 20K on the truck, but all the money I've put into it (quite a bit) has been totally optional.

Bought mine Oct. 2006. Only 25,000 but no problems what-so-ever. Don't let it get down man. Even that new Chevy you are thinking about could do the same thing.

Bought mine on 5/20/04 and the only thing I had worked on was the front pinion seal. Still runs strong(er), only have 47k on it though.

Meh, 25K on my 06 and the only thing wrong is the CD player is busted. It has been since 5K, and I'll get it fixed before the warranty expires but I just listen to MP3 or radio, so no big deal for me.
The only gripes I have are thin sheetmetal and cheap plastic dash. Terrible.

Bought mine March 31 2006. Only problem I have had is the Blend door had to be replaced at about 5K miles. Have 35K now and no problems. I do not think the body, interior or plastics used in the Dodges are of the same quality as the GM or Ford Trucks. I wont go here but the seats in the Dodge won't even start to compare with the seats in the GMCs or Chevys. All in all I am real happy with this truck and its performance. As mine is payed for I think I will just run it till it cost more to fix than it is worth.

Both Ford and GMC/Chevy have a lemon now and then not just Dodge.
