LR window won't roll up

I went to a drive through today and the guy in the back seat rolled the window down and it wouldn't roll up. I swapped switches between the rear doors and that didn't change anything. I pulled the door panel and got the window rolled up for now (it's pouring) but I was wondering if this was a common problem. I'm getting a varying voltage to the constant power wire at the door so I'm thinking that the master switch is the problem. Any thoughts, hints, tips? I don't have time to work on it any more today but I'll do a little more tomorrow and maybe get it more figured out.

Do you have the lock out switch to kill power to the rear switches? It could be your problem if its going south on you.

I do have it but it's not on and all the other windows work normally. The power to the RR window is a steady 12V and the power to the LR window varies from 9 to 12V.

If it is not the motor, check the wires in the rubber boot between body and door. they are known for breaking...

The motor works great, I gave it power and the window went right up. I ohmed out the wire between the rear switch and the front switch and came up with .2 ohms, which stayed steady no matter how much wiggling I did. I'm going to be out of town for the next couple weeks so it's going to sit but I'll get on it when I get back.

I had the same problem, in my case the wires were broken in the boot.

Thats what happened to mine...LR door went dead...five wires broken.
I got the entire harness for the rear door for 40.00 at the dealer...they had a few in stock so that should tell ya something.
