Anyone give me some help on the window. It wont roll up. I am wondering if it's the switch itself or the motor. I took the panel off, and not sure which one it is. Which would be the first to go out? 2002 slt with 307,000.

put power on motor and see if it works, if not then its your switch.

 

Well I put power(12v) to the motor and all it does is hum. I am assuming the motor is bad.

 

Seems to be one more common problems, usually 7-10 years if lucky.

 

Time for a new motor, it shouldn't be too expensive, check ebay

 

Check if the track and linkages aren't binding before you spend any money.
I've found that if you push the window up while applying the switch that the window will often work fine again.
Sometimes they bind and just need a little help.
