lots of noise when i shut it off...

awful lot of rattling when i shut the motor off. it's a manual, so i'm thinkin it is in the tranny, does this seem normal? it is only while it is shutting off, kind of at the end of the cycle. hard to describe, but it is definately a "heavy" sound.

my 06 with a G-unit shuts down hard but that's just normal Cummins shake IMHO

Push clutch in and shift into first, makes a difference in the rattle.

just read it...

in the manual for my '07 "you may experience a rattle at shut down and to try putting the clutch in when shutting down on the manual transmissions"

My '92 did the same but never saw a manufacturers hint that it was normal.
