Regarding the '03-05 grille, is there a difference between the plastic "billet" inserts in the sport grille and the chrome grille? Every sport grille I've ever seen appears to have matte inserts instead of the chrome ones. I ask because I am debating buying the whole OEM sport grille new or buying a primered shell and trying to paint it and adding the inserts for about 1/4 the cost.

Anyone have a source for the complete grille? $385 was the lowest I've seen... nice chunk of change for a pretty chunk of plastic.

 

I saw a paintable grill shell only, on ebay yesterday for $55 dollars. Shipping looked a bit high, but it was supposedly guaranteed to fit or your money back. Thinking I'm gonna get one too, cuz I dont really wanna peel the chrome plastic stuff off mine

 

I looked at a sport grille on a hemi yesterday, the inserts appear to be the same, asked and answered I guess.
