Line of Fire w/ Reverse

anyway of picking out the reverse wire in the harness, or in the loom? They said to follow the wire from the taillight but i have no idea which wire is reverse on the bulb panel plug. I dont have a voltmeter and I dont want to cut every wire and try them. Further up the loom(closer to the spare tire) there is a section of white wire looping out of the wireloom, could that be it? Thanks

Tap it in the reverse wire going to the factory 7 way plug.

Just out of curiosity, how did you guys mount the lights with the opening for the spare tire crank in the way?

I've wanted to get one, but wasn't sure how it would look/work with that opening below the tailgate.

TIA

The hole is much bigger than necessary, with alot of play in the lowering shaft. I covered almost half of the hole with the LEDs, giving the tailgate ample swing space. Works like a champ, just need to get that reverse wire tapped in and Ill be gravy. I found mine on ebay, one of the "stores" has them for 80, w/ free shipping, best deal available with the reverse feature, and booyyy does it look good!

I found the reverse light wire with a test light, only took a minute. As far as the spare goes you can get it down without the jack thingy by laying under the truck and using a wrench, so I didn't worry about it. You can also remove the bar once installed by using a phillips screw driver. Both methods are slightly inconvenient ,but how often do you need to drop the spare.

just don't mount it too "high" or when you lower your tailgate it will hit it...don't ask...

I cut a notch for the spare tire hole(on the light bar). And Akita is right, don't go above the hole or you'll have problems!

I just removed the plastic grommet in the spare tire hole so the LOF would fit flush with the bed. There will be plenty of room to crank the spare down. I found out twice after I got the light bar.

For the reverse light I just popped out the tail light and tapped it there. Considering the tap they had I figured it would be out of the weather that way.

There is plenty of room to lower the spare, but you can use industrial strength velcro. Mine has been holding without an issue for 2+ years.

Definately take the plastic grommet out of the lowering hole, or else the LEDs will not be flush.

here's the best deal i've seen on them yet. costco online has them for $59.99. and their return policy if needed is second to none. they also have the regular (no reverse) line of fire for $39.99.
