Lights acting wierd

After a short weekend trip and just a few turns from home. I selected the left turn signal and after about 3 flashes, it started flashing real fast. I thought, ok one of my signal lights is burnt out. WRONG.

During trouble shooting I found that with the:
1) left turn signal selected, the left front worked and the rear were inop.
2) with right signal selected, the front was inop and rear worked fine.
3) headlights on, only the left headlight worked
4) High beam selected, only the right one worked.

Well now it's raining sideways, so I guess I'll be driving the garage queen to work tomorrow.

Any ideas ???

TIPM needs reset at the dealer.. or possible wiring problem at the flatbed tie-in which caused the TIPM trip, Does the bed have LED'S and resistors or plain lights?

i don't think the lights are the LED type, but they are sealed.
Whats the TIPM.

I do know that the left, outside tail light has a problem though. About a week ago, I noticed that with just the running lights or head lights on, it was brighter then the rest. You know what I mean, like a little C9 bulb thats not working and you thump it and now not only does it work, but much brighter then all the rest on the string.

Maybe this is what's causing my light problem.

The TIPM, totaly intergrated power modual is basicaly your fuse panel under the hood. It controls the light functions. My truck was doing pretty much the same thing ended up having to buy a new one at about 650.00. It is one of those fixes for the average mechanic that your going to have deal with a dealer no matter what

That's a possibility on the light how's the connection looking?

Some people are finding used TIPM's at $75-100..

Edit:

How many of the sealed lights are on the bed? generally speaking you want a min of 2 amps(that's why you have to use resistors on the led's) and max 4 on the light circuit..a factory bulb is aprox 2 amps..

Well, I replaced the one tail light that I knew was having a problem and after setting for 24 hours, everything worked. Ran some errands and just as I made the last turn, the turn signal started flashing fast again.
Back to square one.

Along with the AIR BAG light. I found that after the truck sets overnight, the overhead display will revert back to outside temp and the elapse time will reset to zero. Also the odometer will display the miles, when it should be displaying the trip miles.

Ok, we are up and running again.

If you replace your TIPM. Make sure you push in fuses 20 and 21.
They're under the yellow guard. They pwr your Air Bag Module.

At first, I thought the yellow guard was the fuse removal tool .
O'well.
