Leveling Suggestions

Ok, looks like I have decided to spend a little bit of money on my truck. I need new shocks so I want to go ahead and level the front end. Planning on going with Lorenz 5100 leveling kit then add a Ranch hand Bull nose bumper. Any pros or cons with the lorenz kit? Everything I have read so far has been positive. Thanks in advance.

Is this the kit you are getting? I will be looking forward to seeing the springs on your truck. I eventually may upgrade my springs too, and get rid of the spacers.

i've had this kit on two trucks. its been off road ALOT. I haven't had a chance to ride in a whole lot of trucks with nice supension upgrades but from what i have seen this kit is awesome. It's what im running rite now and i love it. i've had about 3 different types of spacers using the stock springs even with some new shocks but they dont even compare to new springs with the blisten shocks. Go for it you wont be disapointed.

Did you get the 23% springs?

If your bumper is heavy I would find a way to take out an addtional leaf(s) in the rear so it doesn't have too much of a rake.

I have pics in my gallery of the 5100 kit on my truck.

The leaf packs certainly make it ride better.

If you didn't do anything to the rear I'd just see how it goes with the bumper before changing them out.

I went with the KORE Leveling kit, only kit out at the time, if I were doing it now it would be the Lorentz at the higher spring rating with the heavier front bumber your are installing. The Bilstein 5100's are GREAT shocks, much better than stock, I also did the rear shocks, got them from Lorentz. You WILL be a happy camper with what you have chosen. Springs and shocks are far superior choice over pucks.

I ordered the 6% springs after an email to Sean Lorenz. I wasn't sure when I would get the bumper and he stated that the 6% should be just fine. I wanted to get the mini leafs for the back but I decided to get the front done first w/ bumper. The wife doesn't know how much I spent just yet......I guess I had better buy her something nice for V-day.

I had spacers and 5100's for 2 years now I have the Lorenz 23% coils with tough country bumper and wouldn't think twice. I love the ride and how stable everything is. I have the DSS steering brace as well so instead of relocating the swar bar with the drop blocks I bought endlinks from Sean and they are billet and stought. Good buy on your part texasram. Later
