Leveling kit

Ok i have my 2wd 2500 and i just talked to a 4 wheel drive shop by me and they said that i could run 1.5, 2" or the 2.5" leveling kit. i have been told that i can't run anything bigger than 1.5". also with will i need to change the shocks?

I have the Daystar two inch leveling kit on my 2004 3500 2wd dually with 22.5 Alcoas and no problems. Still running stock shocks and no rubbing issues.

2" works fine on all 2nd & 3rd Gens!
I ran regular length Bilstein shocks for 5,000 miles and just didn't think they were quite right? I changed to the 2" extra long Bilstein's and love them!

More than 2" is too much....nose high, if your a 4x4. (signature doesn't say but since you were speaking with a 4x4 shop...........

Bilstein... Zinc coated,2" longer (built for +2-+3" lifts). PN for 3rd Gen is probably different than 2nd Gen?
Mine are BE 56681H5.

I put in the 1.5" in my 2wd.... when it first went in, it was perfectly level, then settled in nice, slightly nose down... I like it...

Yes. The Daystar 2 inch kit on my truck is for the 4wd model and they work fine.

How did the 4x4 spacers work? I had the 4x4 daystars shipped by accident and they had studs in them, there are no places for those studs to go.
