Leveling Kit------Plus Pics

I just bought my 2006 black 3500 srw truck about two weeks ago and i was trying to get some opinions on leveling kits. to make the front level with the back. what is the best kind to buy and are they very difficult to put on. I am sure there is already a thread on this but I am at work right now....hahaha.....thanks

I feel like a broken record.....

I recommend the Lorenz or KORE leveling kits that come with new coil springs, shocks and sway bar drop blocks. The Lorenz is $505 and the KORE is $565.

Man that is a lot of money to move it just a little. Can you fit 305's in there without buying a leveling kit? Just to let everyone know I just swictched from a 2005 sierra to a 2006 Dodge and I am loving every second of it.

I had 325/70-17's on mine without a leveling kit. 305's will fit easily. You can also just buy one of those steel spacers for less than $100.

They'll make it a bit worse unless you add longer shocks.

by the time you put on spacers and bilstein shocks you may as well go all the way with the kore or lorenz kit at least that has been my conclusion from my studieslook at it this way you just spent 35k give or take on your rig probably going to spend 1500 on tires and wheels why on ly 100 bucks on whats going to give you your ride quality personally I would like to keep my fillings. If you have to wait on the kit if you are only going with a 305 70 they will clear fine.
315/70on mine stock height lorenz kit in the spring.

I understand what you are going through and I have a fiance who does not she says no more $on the truck till after the funeral. So that is why I piece things in and use her to my advantage she says it need steps so I can get nerf bars I will save some mad money for the fender flares i am blaming the dogs for the seats lookin like crap so I can get seat covers but I have not figured out the suspension yet at least everything fits now and we can live with it till after the funeral. Try and go piece by piece.

Lightbulb

nitis,

Next time she rides with you, make sure she is drinking something and make sure you HIT EVERY BUMP. Then tell here there are "things" that you can do to smooth out the ride.

Ok how about this, I know I need to get a sprayed in bed liner. But what kind does everyone like..........over the rail and over the lip of the tailgate? Why in the world isnt there a piece of plastic on the top of the tailgate?

I did over the rail to protect the rail. Keep in mind though my truck is Black and sports a canopy.
