left over 2004
left over 2004
dealer here in Columbus has a left over 2004 2500 quad cab short bed ST, diesel, 6spd, tow mirrors, cloth seats, cruise and some misc. The sticker is $37730. What would be a good price for that truck? Are there any rebates for 2004's.
Thanks,
Scott

Is it 2 or 4wd? 37,730 just about what my SLT 4x4 stickered for with only tow package (38,550). I bought my 04 (see sig for details) well prior to the 05s comming out and paid just over 30,500. I would think they could at least get in (or below) that ballpark.
Less if it's a 2wd.
Good luck

I know this might sound weird, but we test drove a new '04 last week, and after 4 hours at the dealership, we wound up getting a better deal on an '05 with even a bit more equipment. I'm assuming rebates might be a bit stronger on the '05's or maybe there's some dealer incentives on them. I was quite surprised myself but hey.... an 05 works for me!
Use kbb.com.
go to kelly blue book .com (www.kbb.com) and find out what the invoice is on the truck with the given options. I'd go at least $1000-2000 below that, then subtract rebates, etc. They need to move that truck off the lot. FYI, invoice on my truck (04.5, 4x4, laramie + H package) was $40,500.
I went to the dealer to buy an '04 2500 ST 4x4 short bed, quad, cloth seats but no cruise or tow mirrors. They wanted $28K + change for it. I ended up buying an '05 instead (long story).
$37,730 is way too much unless it has more options than you're mentioning.
