Dealer called yesterday to tell me that my truck had arrived.He said while the truck was at the rail yard the radio was stolen :'( Can someone tell me what the standard radio is that comes with the Laramie Package?When i ordered i thought it came with the CD-Cassette radio.The Dodge site says the 6 CD changer radio.Just want to make sure they put the right one back in.Will it say on the window sticker?Thanks

 

It should say on the window sticker when you get it. You are right that the Dodge site says it's standard now. I don't know if it was standard when you ordered your truck or not.<br><br>Do they lock these trucks for transit? If they do, the thief may have broken a window to get in so you might want to inspect the body and the trim around the window for damage (and also the dash).

 

When I ordered my truck with the Laramie package it included the single CD and the cassette. The six disc CD in dash unit was shown as an option. I tried to order it but could not do so. It showed to be a late availabilty option. If it does now come in the Laramie package I will be &gt; :'(

 

These vehicles are not locked while in transit. They are all unlocked with the keys in the ignition from the time they leave the plant, till they get ot the dealership. :

 

The Laramie package does now come with a 6 disc changer. I know because I ordered one the other day and that is what the dealer said I was getting. Thanks.

 

Thanks for the replys.Dealer said that nothing else on the truck was damaged,just got the radio and wiring harness or damaged wiring harness.He also said that my truck was not the only one that had things stolen.You would think these trucks would be better guarded.But anyway i am flying to Chicago this afternoon to pick it up.I'll post results when i get back

 

I finally made it back home with my truck Sunday.I have to say this is one NICE truck.When i got to the dealer on Friday afternoon i was informed that the wrong wiring harness was sent for my truck and they could not install the radio.It sure was a long ride back to Tennessee with no tunes(but i did have the wife with me) .The truck is now at my local dealer having the radio installed today.I also want to mention that my truck came with the CD-Cassett player
