lamp out instrument panel light on

Help, the lamp out indicater light flashs on and off with the chime keeping pace with it. Try driving 200 miles with the chime going constanly. All lights are working. Have taken lights out and looked for bad cannections, can't find any.
Dealer told me to replace all the light blubs which seems a little extreme.
Any solutions. Thanks

Make sure you include the license plate lights. A few have had the same issue that traces back to the "socket tail, stop, a". It holds the bulbs. Or you could try one bulb at a time.

That just happen to me and even the dealership couldn't find the bad bulb. I changed the tail lights one at a time and found it to be my stop/tail bulb. It looked good but was bad. All good now!

Had the same thing and it was a brake light bulb that the contact wire was almost burned through but just enough to flip out the light and buzzer, drove about the same miles so I know your pain on that one....Those light bulbs are a bad design if you ask me.....

that must be a common problem. i had the same thing happen to me. The rear right taillight was shortening out with running light. They are a bi-bulb if that makes sense. two lights in one bulb.

I replaced all the light bulbs except reverse and headlights not very extreme really $17

Must be a run on this problem, I had my lamp out light come on yesterday and could not find a bulb out anywhere last night.

This has been a very common problem for over 7 years.

Mine came on also, ends up I had a reverse light out. Now after changing the bulb, the reverse lights are on as soon as I turn the lights on...Auto parts store said to replace the entire assembly the rear bulbs plug into due to the circut board shorting out, tried that and still the reverse lights come on with the running lights. So now its on to find out what wire is bad....
