Unhappy Lamp Out Indicator

I have a 2003, 3500 Heavy Duty, four door, short bed , automatic - all stock. I have been getting a "Lamp Out" alarm with the annoying chime sporadically. This indication is for a headlight (high or low), tail lights, running lights and brake lights. All of the lights are OK. It seems to do it most often when it rains or is moist. I can't find any bare wires or loose connections. Has anybody else had this problem or has any helpful info...HELPPPPPPPP!

a search of this problem would give you this answer..... It is probably the circuit board in one of your tail lights they are well known for going out and giving you a lamp out chime. and if it gets wet and is going out that would be all the more reason to look this way!

I had this problem last Feb. It took 3 trips to the dealer to find out it was the rear light circuit board. They finally replaced both, and the problem went away.Others have mentioned that when they get this sympton that within a couple of days a light finally burnned out. good Luck.
