On my 03 the rear connector had become slightly loose. Do a walk around unplug and re-plug the connectors

One of your lights in your tail light assemblies is most likely going out... Change all of them and it should go away.

In my case it was a dry socket, could also be loose bulb or loose connection. The computer senses a high resistance as a bad lamp.

Try cleaning out the connections with an air compressor? That would be my first thing to try.

I had a brake light that was going out that drove me crazy for about a week. It would ding and then go out. I learned I could tap the brakes and make it go away. I would have replace every buld on the truck before I would listen to that again. It did burn out completly before I got home and it was easy to find.
When I replaced the buld, I put di-electric grease on the socket and on the taillight connector.

Do what Posm said-that is the cure with the grease. I had to do this with both 03's

Mine did the same thing and my problem was there was an open in the circuit board so you might want to check that.

Mine would do it when the lights were off the first time, so I changed the bulbs that looked the worst. About a week later the chime came back, so I decided to change the rest. No probs since!
