Installing power mirrors/clearance lights/fog lamps on 04 RAM ST?

Hey guys:

Is it possible to replace the factory manual exterior mirrors on the ST with power mirrors?

Does anyone know how much the mirrors would cost, or perhaps what installation costs would be? At this point, the truck I want to get is not pre-wired for the mirrors

Now that I'm on this subject, what about fog lamps and clearance lights? With the Clearance lights, would there be a chance of rust? Cost for the lights (fog/clearance), and installation?

Thanks,

Erick

Smile fog lamps

Hi ecaff, I just installed fog lamps on my 03, SLT AND the cost at the dealer was $180 and I did the install. It took me about 2-3 hours to do the job,its well worth the money!Much better vision at night than before. good luck

I put on TTS towing mirrors and it also took 3-4 hours I had the power and heated mirriors already and had to wire the parking lights and turn signals I would not think it would be easy to upgrade to power and heated mirrors though

Thanks for the replies, guys. Keep em' coming! Salesman hasn't called me back yet, so he's probably not interested in making the deal. I will admit that my budget of $300/month is unrealistic, but I was banking on a fat tax refund, and only got a few pennies out of it. So...we'll see if he calls me back. I think that, buying the CTD right now would probably be a bad idea anyway...but if the price is right...

Speaking of mirrors...are power mirrors really necessary? I have power mirrors on my car, and I really don't play around with them. Your thoughts?

Search on Ebay for the fog lights. I have seen the complete kit for $112. I still have to decide if I want to put the fogs down there. Has anyone put Hella driving lights down there?

Tow Mirrors

www.dodgeparts.com has them for $300 for the pair. Yes those are the heated power ones. I am not sure if your truck has the pre-wire for them however.

Check E-bay. NIB Fog lights were $110.00. They came with everything needed and were genuine Mopar jobs. Mirrors are between 275 and 325. Clearance lights are easy enough. My buddy just installed them. He did have to splice into the headlight switch, but I have not gotten the time to check out if there is a wiring connector in there yet. As far as rust, you should be OK if you seal them, and put a little paint or primer on the holes you made. Hope that helps!
