Imagine my surprise...high idle
I was under the impression that my '05 6 spd didn't have a high idle feature.
Well...I think it does.
I left work this evening (coldest day in Chicago this year at 28 degrees). I started the truck and it went to 800 rpm (normal). As soon as the grid went off, the idle ramped up to 1,000 rpm. I let it warm up another 5 minutes and as soon as I put in the clutch the idle went back to 800. I stopped at Wendy's on the way home to get a burger and left it (the truck) running in the lot. When I got back with my cheesburger and fries, it was idling away at 1,000 again.
Who knew - not me.

It doesn't fit!!! and that is probably the only reason I haven't gained weight driving all day since I have to find a HUGE parking lot to park to enjoy a little of wendy's finest!!!!! ha ha, pun intended!!
