I think I broke it

I think I broke it

Last night I got stuck and i think that water got into the power steering pump resivor. Today it is very hard to turn when engine is idling. Any ideas?

Check the belt to the pump. Check PS fluid level.

If you check it just after shutting down, the fluid will be milky if there's water mixed in it.

If it is milky, I'd flush it soonest.

70 degrees all the time.

It isn't milky but it smells really bad.

I'd flush it just to be sure. Might throw some synthetic fluid in it.

check your air pressure, min wont turn when the front tires are low in air.
