I pulled the trigger today
Bought a 2006, 2500, 5.9, A/T, 4door with 29,000 miles.
Inferno Red, it sure is purtie. Bought it out of the local paper.
$8,000 less than the best price I was quoted on a 2007. All it has pulled is a 16ft trailer with lawn mowers and weed eaters.
I'll be posting about it on my blog as soon as it gets nerf bars and tonneau cover.
Should pull my 32ft travel trailer fine.
Did I mention I am very proud of it.

I am curious, How much did you pay? I just bought a 2006 2500 crew cab slt 4x4. It has 22000 miles and they threw in an 8 year 100000 mile powertrain warranty and 2 years worth of free oil changes. I paid $27500, the dealer was asking $32995. I still feel they would have came down a little more.
I paid less, but I didn't get the 100,000 mile "power train warranty", only the original 100,000 mile Cummins engine warranty and the remaining 36/36,000 Dodge warranty. I'm debating buying an optional warranty because of the automatic transmission.
