the temptation was too great...

my truck had stacks on it when I got it... they were turnouts with a crappy crossover pipe setup that caused uneven smoke... and I needed room for a toolbox and needed to be able to carry 4x8 sheets...

well... my buddy and I came up with a design for a bed extender to allow me to still carry 4x8 sheets w/ the tailgate down...

the twins etc. are on hold as I'm using the truck for work and can't afford the downtime.

but I've been a good boy saving all my paychecks, and I'm in the truck all the time now, so I decided to treat myself and put some stacks back on so I'll have something to listen to at work

the 5" straight pipe sounds sweet, but you gotta be next to a wall to get the full effect...

dropped nearly $400, and my bed extender will probably cost me another $30-50 in steel, but I have a feeling it'll all be worth it. can't wait to start REALLY turning heads again

I just took mine off for a couple days to spray in bedliner. Its nice and quiet and I like it, but the I cant help it that I love the stacks so they are going back on tomorrow

 

can't update the sig till the stacks actually go on... not this weekend, but hopefully the following weekend.

Jamb, I know what you mean... at one point I had a resonator and a muffler on my 5" system, and it was almost dead silent... but I gotta let people know where I'm coming from...
