I need a Battery cable...

Happens to be the left side negative.

I went onto Ebay to look, all i put in was 2003 ram 2500 diesel battery cable. I wont say it was all left side negative, but enough to begin to think left side negative has a problem? Anyone care to elaborate on this? Or at least post a link to a discussion on the possibility of a problem? Do i need to, or should i be getting a pre-made one? Looks like $80 +/- for a cheap one. Could i lop off the broken terminal and put just a new terminal back on the end?

If you have enough cable to reach, Genos garage has great battery cable ends that connect at the battery. I have replaced two of mine with them.

Also, Arizona wind and sun sells excellent welding type cable which is very flexible and has a double layer insulation.

Here is 00, for example. Sold by the foot.

They also have various fittings (get closed end) and some double thick shrink tubing with heat activated adhesive/sealant.
