I have warm air coming from the passenger side air vents while on A/C.

First let me explain I have searched the archives and have not found a definite answer to this A/C problem. I have read about the blend door problems.

How many doors are there?

Do the Passenger/Driver controls operate a door by themselves?

What is the fix for this problem?

I told the dealer at the 36,000 mile service there was a problem with switching from heat to A/C and it was very slow to change from one setting to another. I haven’t had much of a problem with this because
I haven’t driven the truck much in this type of heat. I now have 47,000 miles on it and have a 7:30 AM appointment Monday with the dealer. What should I tell them to try to get this fixed under warranty or what can I do to fix it myself?
Your help on this problem will be greatly appreciated.

I had the exact same problem. It was low on 134A. Charged the system to the proper levels and everything has been fine. Passenger side is now as cold or colder than the driver side. By the way, the dealer most likely will try to tell some elaborate story about what is needed because merely charging the system is easy and relatively cheap and, therefore, won't generate the same sale for them.

Thanks Helmutt,
I did just as you suggested, I recharged the system with a little 134a and the passenger side temperature came back down to almost the same temperature as the drivers side.
Thanks for your input and saving me a trip to the dealer.
