Since you went there....... I was going to ask you if you had video of your MFS falling to the ground?

The are imbedded in the posts themselves. You must have some issue with your browser, an add-on, etc....

Oh and good job to the cow armorer. Top Tier write up.

Shorts, just seeing this, jam up job! Been noticing my wipers going a little spastic lately, maybe the mfs needs a tune up.

Ok. There is a setting you can check.

1. Go to "User CP" link there at the top left of the page header

2. Go to "Edit Options" link in the left hand menu

3. Scroll down and you will see this. Check the box to "Show Images". Save your settings and you should be good to go.

Was there not a mileage limit if they would replace the MFS or not?

I believe my letter said there was and I was over the limit.

This on your 06? Mine's different as I have to remove the steering wheel (a little more involved with the removal).

Correct, on my 06. Are you certain the wheel has to come off? I did some research before starting my repair. I did find that originally the procedure did call for steering wheel removal. This would enable that big black plastic collar to slip off. However the procedure was amended when it was determined it was an unnecessary step. I will have a look to see if I can find that document.
