How much do side windows cost, just caught two thugs breaking into my truck.
West Rd and Airline. Some arabs over there, got several windshields from them already.
I wonder if I can find a used factory front side glass.... that way I can match side to side. The quad cab glass doesn't have factory markings on it.

45 south from downtown, right on west, right on airline, short distance down on the right. I think the name is good price auto glass.
Really nice guy, hasn't done me wrong. I believe they own a couple junkyards next to it and a hair salon is there too.
He put a windshield in my resto'd SSP mustang with fresh paint $$ on it without scratching it. He's also done a few other daily drivers. Right around $100 each time.

Got the plate and what they look like, they almost ran me over driving out but made eye contact. I initially thought they just hit my truck which is why I didn't shoot them.

Black guys. Kia Mini van.
Well here's the story.. Heard my alarm go off. Got my gun went out into the parking garage, saw them jumping into the van and backing out of the spot next to me. I just thought they hit my truck, my gun was in my pocket. They nearly ran me over getting away. I jumped into my second car and chased them when I saw the broke glass. I chased them about 15 minutes through houston zig zagging over into the heights. Cut through an open lot(s) at one point coming out onto I10 from a dead end, chased them down the interstate as well a short distance. This is within a 3 mile square area. Was on the phone with 911/dispatch the whole time almost which is how I timed myself. I finally saw a cop that had pulled someone over and got him to chase but the dude hit a side street, I kept chasing but they ditched. I saw broken glass and another car fleeing and figured that was them and they jacked another car dumping the van in an alley, it's almost a flash back if that makes sense.
I decided that was enough chasing for what happened, I'm not Edward Norton. The way I look at how it happened and how they passed up a car next to it with items in view and how they broke the rear passenger glass they were attempting to steal my truck.
I'll leave some internet details. I got a good go at them since I was in another vehicle and they didn't recognize me at first till they realized I was P'd(dang word filters
) and we'll leave it at that.
The lack of contact from the police says the van was stolen and I do flash back to a car driving off and glass shards all over the ground, they probably ditched the van in an alley next to that.
They were very professional in how they ran. Fast on neighborhood streets and the speed limit on main streets(to not attract attention). They knew the cop hang outs to avoid, they knew I wasn't going to pass them. Even when we pulled up onto the cop he stopped at the redlight and I burned *** into the parking lot where the cop was. They didn't mind me following them, they would have brought me back into the ghetto where their buddies were.
I applaud the police, just don't like how it was dispatched out.

Glad your OK and glad you didnt cap their asses, even in Texas you may have had some trouble with the court system. Pisses me off that this crap still happens all the time. Good luck getting your rig back together.
