i was wondering how good are the stock infinity speakers. it seems as though they dont go loud enough for me or could that be because of the stockstereo that i have? thanks for the replies.

They make em put of paper, so they aren't that spectacular. Replace the stock head unit with a good aftermarket.

I thought the speakers in my '03 were crap, glad I decided to change the head unit 1st, speakers sound 10 times better and plenty of volume...

I have the infinity speakers. For me they do what they need to. I am not all about the boom boom pow. But I wouldn't mind adding a small sub for a little extra noise.

I'm right there with you on this, I added a Pyle 8" 250-watt Amplified Sub woofer, fits perfect between the front fold down seat (mine is always down) and the rear seat cup holder... Sounds real good for my old ears...

The 1st 1 is what I have http://www.qualitycaraudio.com/store...asp?sku=PLTA8N

The carpeted 1 is a littler lower in price... http://www.qualitycaraudio.com/store...asp?sku=PLTAB8...

IMO, the stock speakers are complete junk, as they are in most autos from the factory. I always upgrade.

I'm not an audiophile by any means, but put a good movie in my Pioneer D3 and it will surprise you how good they sound.
