Can't stand this feature anymore . Everytime I go to hook up to the horse trailer it honks . This is the dumbest feature ever! How in the world do we disable this thing????

 

Close the lock mechanism on the door or change the pins in a connector under the dash. Changing the pins effectively switch the front and rear driver door sensors. It will honk with the driver side rear door open if you witch the pins.

There was a really long thread about this called Merged Park Recall or something like that. Do a search.

Simply it involves jumpering the seat belt wires under the drivers seat so the truck thinks the seatbelt is connected.
