My truck 2006 qc 4x4 is at the dealer with a bad pass side hub. Dealer called me this AM and confirmed the problem but then added the hub is no where to be found in North America. It does not show up as backordered just not avaiable. Anyone know of a dealer that may have one in stock??? I'm dead in the water without it.

 

Where are you located? Chicago shows 2 in the wharehouse! PM me your vin and I'll make sure , there are 2 options. They show 16 of the other, and tons of dealers with them in stock. If your dealer knew anything about anything, they would order it "car down". That will pull it out of the closest dealer's inventory or wharehouse and get it to them fast!

right after posting this I called a buddy who runs a large shop. I told him the story and he said he would call me right back. Within 3 minutes he found one at a local dealer. (truck is 50 miles away). I called the Service GM and asked him what the deal was. He wanted to call me back after checking. He called back and said the DA parts guys knew one was at the dealer we called but they (parts) did not like to deal with them. the GM was a little upset to say the least. Funny thing is once he got involved parts changed their story and said one would be in tomorrow in the AM. I bet the parts guy has a little extra room in his shorts after this one. Especially since the regonal manager is a close friend and they all know it. They did everything but roll out red carpet when i got there. I have a feeling the GM will tell him what happened for fear I might tell. lol
$10 says my truck will be detailed and a full tank of fuel since I was without my truck for several days due to the parts guy.
Anyways thanks for checking. I knew someone on here had access to the parts database and I was going to use that ot get them in gear.

 

In case anyone else needs one and doesn't mid buying a used hub bearing for cheap, I found this on ebay. Just thought I'd share my find
