Where did you install the resistor, and was it a 6 ohm? The load resistor should be placed between the FCM (Front Control Module) lowbeam wiring harness and the HID ballast. You will need one for each side.
Does your HID have hi-beams? If so the same thing applies.

So does it go inline with the wire? Cause i have a harness that was made by a hid co and the one side goes inline and the other side is grounded?

The resistor is placed between the 12v feed and ground. This will fake the FCM in seeing the correct load as a halogen bulb.

The original headlight sockets coming from the Front Control Module. I assume the HID ballast is using the 12v from the FCM as a trigger (hence, not much of a load).
The FCM is located under the fuse box in the engine compartment. You can see it if the driver side headlight assembly is removed.

On my truck the driver side low beam is white/dark green with ground being black/light blue. Passenger side white/tan with ground being black/light green.

so here it is, you have to plug the regular halogens and then hard wire the HID wiring harness to the driver side 9007 plug wires, (ground, hi/lo). wether you wrap the lights or run your halog. to the fog lights is up to you, but thats the easyest way to wire HIDs in with out a bunch of BS. if some one has easyer, let me kno, mine works tho.

Get 2, 3-4 ohm 100 watt alum heatsink resistors. Connect one at each stock headlight bulb between the low beam wire and the ground. Now plug in your HID kit. Like Presto "Its in there".

so what about the High beams? and are you pluging the resistors say 1" back from the socket plug and jumping them from low to ground? and my HID HI/LO kit only comes with one 9007 plug for both sides, so if i redid mine woould that still work with that setup?

The computer only senses current on the low beam wire, its doesn't care about the highs. You will only have one plug on your hid kit, thats just a switch to the hids so they know when to cut on and off. Put the resistors on the factory harness at the stock bulb plug. You don't need to leave the bulbs in. Or you can get by with wiring the stock high beam wire to the HID low beam wire, but you will only have low beams on when you hit the bright lights and nothing on low.

Ok, another electrician, and the lights still flicker from hi to low over and over again. I'm sure you know the scenario, bi-xenon, flickering, Highbeams work fine. I installed a resistor on both OEM headlight plugs from the lowbeam wire to the ground wire in the plug. My lights are still flickering. They work fine on highbeam like FastTaco said before but on lowbeam they still flicker and ts driving me crazy I am getting sick of driving with my highbeams on. Does the resisitor have to go to a better ground like right to the chassis? What am i missing here?
