I need to get new tires. On my old dully I ran BFG ATs I loved those I guess my question is how big of a tire can I run on stock suspension with stock rims. I am also looking about putting a levaling kit on the truck probably 2 inch. What size tire do you suggest with that.

I ran 285/75/17s on my old 04.5. stock susp. and wheels. I felt that w/ the 3.73axle gears, that the tranny spent alot of time between 3rd and 4th. Around town I would drive it w/ the OD off. But on the freeway the gearing I felt was great! I would recommend a 285/70/17 if youve got 3.73s and maybe something bigger like a 285/75/17 or a 315/70/17 if youve got the 4.10s.

x2 on the 285/75/17's...I have the Toyo AT's in that size on my truck right now with the stock wheels.

My next set will be 295/70/17's...I'm torn between the Toyo MT's or the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's.
