Piece of cake. You have to remove the seat belts from the wall first. I takes a torx wrench on those. The overhead consel just pulls down but you first must remove the visors, torx on those also. Then just pull the clip part of the visors straight out, they are big push pins, so are the clothes hooks in the rear.
Oh yeah on th eB pillars you have to remove the hand holds first and the covers off the slides on the seat belt adjustments, then the B pillar covers just pull off.
Now since you said DON't ask I have to, what the H$!! did you do?

thanks for the info bud.

i knew someone would ask. i bought an SRT-10 pillar and the part where it meets the headliner didn't line up. i got the bright idea to heat it up with a 2000 degree butane torch and try to bend it a little to make it line up. the headliner protested by melting. there was no way to fix it than to buy another one. $500, and that was with a discount

Before you replace it I would give an interior specialist a call. There are many of these companies that repair cracked dashes and other trim and are miracle workers! The ones in my area that are excellent are Fiber-new and CR Techniques. I don't know if they are nation wide or not but I have seen them fix some amazing things like ripped seats, cigarette burns in uphostry as well as cracked dashes, door panels and what not. It may not hurt to get a price from one of these companies first.

I have to remove my headliner as well to get some hail damage fixed. I have everything undone, the headliner is resting on top of the seats right now but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it out without causing damage? I have a 6speed so I don't know if that makes it even harder yet? I have tried doing exactly as the manual says and moving it all the way to the bottom of the dash panels and cannot get it to even come close to coming out the passenger door? Does it have to do a fancy twist? It seems to me that it will get damaged if I try forcing it any more. My other option is to just leave it hanging on the seats and see if the paintless dent guy I am having do the work can work around it...any suggestions?

I am going to phone the dent guy I am using tommorow and see if he really needs it out or if having it just dropped is sufficient. The maual says to drop the front edge to the floor at the dash, I can't get it to the floor because of the shifter...and yes the shidter is in 3rd so it is all the way forward. I thought about removing the seats but I don't know if that will leave enough either. And of course the big problem is that I don't want to damage anything! Anyone else had any roof hail damage done and do you know if they just dropped the headliner or did they take it out completely?

don't try to take out the seats without a (strong) friend. i might take off the transfer case shifter, it comes right off.

ok i got it in, wasn't as bad as it looked. i have an auto so all i did was remove the tcase shifter and bezel, drop the front edge of the headliner to the floor up against the dash and slide it right out. it was tight but i got the new one in without damaging it.

I'm glad you managed! I still don't know if it would be possible with the 6spd by only taking the transfer case shifter out? Maybe. In the end I got lucky and the dent guy was able to easily do his handy work with just the headliner dropped.

I must also add that this Guy was amazing...I cannot see a single piece of hail damage on the truck anymore! If anyone in the Calgary area needs the number to an amazing artist please don't hesitate to PM me.

Just for your info, the seats are really easy to take out of these things. Once you break them apart from the center, you can pull each seat and the center out one by one. Seat removal is as follows:
Unbolt from floor. Slide bench forward and then tilt back. There are four(4) bolts , two(2) on each side of the center console. Remove one set and lift the seat out. Remove the second set pull the seat out and then you can pull the center out. To install just reverse the order. I took them all out when I installed my leather seat covers.

Just in case any one wanted to go that route.
