headliner removal issues
well it came out like a piece of crap bent the old one and was afraid of wrecking new one so I just sat adn thought about it cuz I have a small tolerance level and I had the great idea that it is not going in with out a windshield out or back window out... so here I sit with the dog and a mega cab headliner in my living room angry so I'[m goin for a drive then wedding this weekend... my life is in pieces why do I leave stuff til the last minute
sorrry thats my rant for a while going for a drive to calm down

Headliners are a major pain dude. I had a little 91 dakota extended and it was sagging like a hooker's *meow* Religned the piece and when i was putting it back I shattered the A pillar into about a 100 pieces. Last thing i was wanting to deal with when i was covered in glue and fiberglass. Feel the pain, just blaim the dog.

They shouldn't be a big issue.Old plastic yes.But the headliner is one piece and should drop out with trim removed pretty easily.Few years back lots of them had the glue bleeding threw.Use to order them and techs that were a little familiar with them could install while customer waited or within a hour or so.Didn't pay much under warranty and NO glass was ever removed.Unless its been a HUGE change in them.Heck my 1998 in my sig.got a headliner(glue bleeding through),steering column(loose bearing) and a seat cover for the d/side bottom installed by lunch one day.(material pulling loose)

the only way that I can see doing it is going threw the back seat and I would have to take out the front two seats adn the concel to get it in there.. this thing is ridiculously big... so I figure it will e easier just to have a new windshiled put in and they can throw it in for me or half A$$ and I'll do the rest it needs a new windshield adn driver window it is cracked too and dodge won't warranty it... or they want 850$ to put it in...

check with your insurance company. alot of them (i know mine will) will replace cracked front windshields with NO deductible. maybe you can get it replaced at your home, and when the guy takes the old one out, slip the new one in and button it up after he leaves.... just a thought.

I was just looking at mine Tank... and be glad you don't have a sunroof like my truck does...that looks like fun.
Let the insurance co. do the windshield, and call an upholstery shop and see what they have to say about the headliner.
